PyCon 2024

PyCon SK is the Slovak version of the international conference dedicated to the Python programming language. This important event took place from March 15 to 17, 2024, at the Faculty of Informatics and Information Technologies in Bratislava. It was intended for Python programmers, developers, and enthusiasts who want to learn more about the language, its tools, and applications. The goal is to promote learning, share experience, and strengthen the Python community in Slovakia.

The main part of the program consisted of lectures from renowned experts both from Slovakia and internationally. For those who wanted to learn Python from scratch, workshops for beginners were organized. Advanced developers could look forward to specialized workshops on web application development, process automation, and creating applications utilizing the latest technologies such as machine learning and data science.

This year's edition focused on sustainability, not only in terms of technological innovations but also the ecological impact of the conference. The organizers aimed to minimize waste by using reusable water bottles and limiting the distribution of unnecessary promotional giveaways. In addition, participants enjoyed vegetarian and eco-friendly snack options, highlighting the event's commitment to environmental orientation.
