The TDCF/TAC Conversion Module can be easily integrated with your Switching System if you for some reason can not use Moving Weather. Incoming observations coded in TAC, such as SYNOP, AWS, PILOT, TEMP, SHIP, CLIMAT or others (not limited to Category 1), will be converted to their BUFR/CREX equivalents according to the latest WMO templates instantly, and will become available along with the old forms. In your NWS, you will then be able to feed processing systems with format they need.

To communicate with your RTH or connected NMC’s, your data will be available for the dual dissemination and also the backward conversion of received TDCF bulletins will be possible.
